Bottle at home. Pours clear amber, nose is floral, estery, yeasty, taste is dry, toffee, floral, something not doing it for me.

Light-medium sweet flavor with some pale bread, faint dough, more lemon and melon, some grapefruit. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Bottle thanks to Leighton. It pours clear gold with a medium white head. The nose is sweet, candied fruits, pear, melon, biscuit, grain, banana, spice and hay. The taste is bitter-sweet, spicy, melon, apple, pear, pepper, sherbet, straw, candy and grassy with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. A touch sweeter than I had hoped for. OK.

Bottle from Grape & Grind, Bristol. Hazy gold, with a tight, off-white and long-lasting head. Spicy, blood orange and barley sugar aroma with some tropical, white wine character and grassy hops. Huge, menthol and green herb flavours, reminiscent of Fisherman’s Friends, with more fruits, some spicy rye and a dryish finish. A lot going on and a pleasant one off.
