Monday, 1st April 2024; Monthly gathering in Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Five guys with beers to share and stories to tell. 75cl bottle, hazy purple body, wispy off-white head. Sour plums with a vinegar red wine leaning, tart and a proper 'sour puss'. The other four guys love this sort of thing, I'm not so impressed.

75cl bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, April 24. Deep purple appearance. Tart, acidic, bristling wild air.. particularly plummy.. tangy down the throat. Definitely a big pokey number this.
