Monday, 1st April 2024; Monthly gathering in Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Five guys with beers to share and stories to tell. Cheers Mark for finding this on your holiday in Costa Rica. 330ml bottle, hazed golden body, white crown. Pithy fruit feel with a slight funky sourness, interesting stuff, Pigeon Holed as a Saison which it isn't really.

330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, April 24 (1.2). Thanks Mark for bringing this back from your holiday in Costa Rica! Hazed golden orange appearance, good pure white head. Aroma is nicely fruity with interesting lychee-type exotic notes. Continues to taste, soft palate, fruity sweet. Doesn't come across as a farmhouse saison but quite fruity and went well with a strawberry and white chocolate Welsh cake.
