This beer is a golden-amber ale with a fluffy head, a medium-full body, and a smooth mouthfeel. The citrus and tropical fruit aroma and flavor from the Citra and Cascade hops are balanced by biscuit, caramel, and earthy notes from the malts and Challenger hops. The finish is clean, with a lingering fruitiness and rounded bitterness, and the beer is naturally carbonated due to cask conditioning.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Golden amber colour, white foam head and aroma of malt, bread, fruit, hops. Taste is sweet malty, grain, bready, and fruity, with earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying tangy bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Panda at home, thanks to the Graham Grumbo, 22/03/2026.
Moderately hazed golden to copper topped with a lasting creamy white head.
Nose is tangy fruits, breads, grains, hedgerow.
Taste comprises fruit slice, tangy edge, hedgerow, straw.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
So so affair ... a little raw and disjointed.

500ml bottle from Spar, Llanwrst. Pours a relatively clear gold, good white froth atop. Aroma of pale malt, grassy hop, mild grapefruit. Decent old school pale, good crisp hoppy bite without presenting too much in the way of sweet, fruity notes. Not bad.
