Bottle. Unclear deep golden body under an off-white head. Aroma has malt, red berries, pepper and slightly funky. Taste is medium sweet malt, red berries, tannin bitterness, pepper and some spices. Nice body and pleasant aftertaste. A very nice and tasty saison.

330ml bottle from Chez Sophie. Generally clear golden amber pour, good white head. Lovely saison with a good balanced sweetness.

Rocky white head on a bright amber coloured body. Spiced fruits, toffee & herbal aroma. Medium bodied, smooth, soft & lively on the back with a dull aft. Earthy, white wine, herbal & angostura bitters tastes with sweeter vegetal finish. All but a bit strange but very tasty

Keg at the Hanging Bat. Pours clear golden amber with a thin white head. Aromas of higher alcohol, almond, spice. Taste is more of the same. Dry finish.

Keg at the hanging bat. Pours hazy orange, nose is caramel, toffee, banana, spices, taste is similar, sweet.

Appearance is amber with some haze, a 2-3 finger foamy beige head which settles. Aroma is malt, yeasty hints, fruity hedgerow hops, spices. Traces of biscuity caramel. Taste is fruity, woody malt, bit of raisin and rye, earthy notes, peppery, spice, hop bitterness. Full and earthy.

Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured an orange with fluffy white head. Aroma is funky, barnyard, fruit. Taste is tingly, fruity, straw, barnyard, spicy.

1/4/2021. Bottle from The Town Mouse, Newcastle. Pours cloudy dark amber brown with a small frothy just off-white head. Aroma is peppery, fruit, earthy, malt, yeast, herbal, banana, caramel. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation. Sweeter finish developed. Quite enjoyable.
