Cask @ Pursuit of Hoppiness, Bridport. Pitch black pour with a small beige head. Bright nose with sweet maple syrup, coffee, roast. Excellent rich maple definition to taste, rounded off with some welcome coffee and leather. Very good.

Gravity cask at the Blue Boar as part of their 2020 Night and Day Festival. Very dark but not quite black, with a loose ring of khaki/tan head. Aroma of maple syrup on top of slightly burned waffles. Intense naple notes in the aweet taste, but theres also the tender flavours of stewed prune and milk chocokate as well as a good stab of aniseed in the more bitter finish. Full body, almost no carbonation. Incredible stuff.

Cask at the Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Black pour with a beige head. Aromas of banana toffee, maple syrup, caramel, chocolate. Very similar action in the flavour. Long, sweet 'n' satisfying finish. Very tasty.
