Can at home, from an online peddler, 31/05/21. Black with a good sized lasting tan head. Nose is chocolate orange, dark malts, Cointreau, light booze tunes, toffee, caramelised sugars. Taste comprises decadent chocolate orange, mellow bourbon rip, chocolate fondant, sweet malts, light roast, hint of caramel, brown sugar melt. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Solid impy affair ... does what it says on the tin pretty well whilst keeping a good balance and not getting overly sweet at any point. Not sure it gets Creme Brulee across too much but solid chocolate orange and bourbon are delivered.

330ml can Sophie's Beer Store, whilst cooking Ossetian Pies. Pitch black appearance, tan head. Very rich, chocolatey, great bourbon integration with modest grand marnier notes. Excellent.

Can. Nose is dark chocolate, drinking chocolate, mint, after eights, Terrys chocolate orange, selection box chocolates synthetic fillings, hint of fudge. It smells like cheap chocolates, it's not appealing. I could maybe get a touch of the cinnamon. Taste is chocolate, leading to a touch of mint, then candy sugar, soft orange, orange selection box chocolate, leading to bourbon, very faint cinnamon and space, with almond in the sugary finish. It's OK and the bourbon barrel lifts it but, it's verging on the cloying.
