Bottle from the fan shop in Bamberg and drunk with Nelson. Dark brown black colour. Lasting tan head. Big coffee aroma. Some chocolate aroma. Mostly coffee. I mean like so many of these Weyermann beers. You think it'll be too big here or there bit this is remarkably well balanced. Some hop sting on the finish. Good quality coffee throughout. I liked it.

31/VII/24 - 33cl bottle from Weyermann Living & Drinking (Bamberg, DE), shared @ Ardennes Holiday, BB: 12/III/25 (2024-645)

Clear dark brown beer, creamy dense beige head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of coffee, some caramel, roasted, malty, sourish impression, some berries. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: a bit sweet, some caramel, lots of coffee, a little sweet, pretty malty. Aftertaste: more malts, grains, a bit sourish, pretty watery, soft bitter touch, ok but not great.

Bottle picked up from Weyermann Malsters Bamberg and consumed at home Sunday 27th March 2022 sat outside in beautiful 🌞 listening to Bodega - Broken Equipment, we have Pastitsio cooking in the Wood Oven, and a Greek Salad to accompany it. Pours dark brown with a creamy textured and coloured mid-sized head. Nice simple well-done porter, the coffee is just right, not overpowering, the roastiness from malts is good, it has a good bitter and sweet tang, a little fruity. I like the simplicity on display here, it is a really nice porter.
