Bottle from Beer Merchants. It pours slightly hazy deep golden - blonde with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is fragrant, spicy, clove rock, ripe banana, farmhouse style bread, orange marmalade, cola cubes, crystallized ginger, honeydew melon, pear drops and a touch of sherbet. The taste is smooth, hearty malts, bready, sponge cake, banana loaf, biscuit, toasted nut, quite sweet, heavy, fruit cake, warming spice, clove, ginger, pepper, cola cubes and a nip of booze with a smooth, malt driven finish. Medium+ body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Not as much depth as their usual offerings,.maybe a touch sweet? Not bad overall.

Bottle that I picked up from Kloster Andechs shop today Tuesday 10th March 2026. This is a beer that has eluded me until now, I'm not sure that it's a particularly difficult beer to find but despite my best efforts this is the first time I've come across it. Tastewise it's solid, nice sweetness, strength is well hidden, it's 7.0%. It's mid yellow/gold, a little hazy, busy carbonation at first but this then subsides rapidly, admittedly it's not perfect serving temperature and it was in my bag earlier. Some wheatiness shows, a little toffee. I like it but there are others that are better, would be good to try on draft. Score: 7.1

Bottle. Cloudy mid/dark orange with an appropriate white head. Stand by stomach, here comes banana. Aroma of bananas galore, caramel, alcohol and bubblegum. Tate of bananas, clove, malts, honey, some lemons and wheat. Moderate bitterness. Medium to strong carbonation. Lovely mouthfeel. Quite boozy yet still balanced and enjoyable.

500ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Stable, big white head leaving spotty lacing on the glass, a wheat haze to an orange coloured body. Prominent aromas of ripe banana, lightly spiced. The taste character follows suit with spiced ripe banana, mild caramel moments and wheat. Wheat fruity ending, mid-sweet. Fine depth to it. Pretty tasty, enjoyed at home on a Saturday afternoon. (Tromsø, 25.01.2025).

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - cloudy golden orange with frantic carbonation and a massive slightly off white head. Nose - initial whiff of banana and sweet spice, then brown bread, dried fruit, generally cakey. Taste - bananas in syrup, then sweet cake notes again. Palate - medium bodied, sweet middle and good linger. Overall - lovely stuff!
