The best coast, is the west-coast! 1019 is geen mysterieus jaartal of een geheimzinnige code die je nodig hebt in de escape room bij onze buren van Lockdown. Het is de HBC nummering van de hopsoort die samen met Nugget schittert in deze extreem hoppige West-Coast IPA. Verwacht veel steenvruchten en een harsige sinaasappelschil met een zeer dorstlessende bitterheid!

De oplettende kijker heeft waarschijnlijk al opgemerkt dat het achtergrondkleur van het label RAL 1019 is.

A: clear golden, small, foamy, white head.
A: melon, grape, mandarin peel, lime zest, spring onion.
T: sweetish melon & mandarin, sourish lime, bitter grapefruit.
F: bitter piney hops, grapefruit, melon.
P: medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation.
Quenching, bitter and clean.

25/XII/24 - 33cl can from the brewery, shared @ my parents’ place, BB: 10/XII/25 (2024-1304)

Clear gold blond yellow beer, dense creamy bit irregular white head, unstable, falls down quickly, little to non adhesive. Aroma: nice, caramel malts, some tropical fruits, juicy, mango, a little dank, a hint of diesel, some marijuana, piny, grassy touch, pleasant and complex. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice, quite some citrus, hoppy, bitter, some mango, grapefruit, juicy. Aftertaste: nice, juicy, lots of citrus notes, grapefruit, bitter, hoppy, grassy, nice, a bit juicy, dry finish.

Pours clear blonde. Small white head. Scent is mild, pine, fairly crystal malt forward (more sweet than crunchy) Taste is sharp, bitter, coconut-like hoppyness ( sorachi?) malty. Bitter finish .
