Can shared in London - courtesy of Ken. Pours unclear gold with a creamy white head. The character is all sugary white bread and oddly intense bitterness. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Bitter finish. Not the best.

Level 6 bottleshare. Can. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, semi dry, light dry creamy malts. Bitterish tangynuts with a disconcerting sugar dusting. Light and bitterish finish. Messy.

Can 1 pint. Pours a hazy golden with a rich, off-white head. Nose is an odd blend of vague pecan with an even vaguer hoppiness. Odd but not bad. Rich, sweet, malty body, some fruit, really thick. Hop bitterness and pecan fighting for attention - neither really wins. Not sure I understand a hoppy background for pecan, it gets somewhat confusing. Ends bitter with only vague pecan notes. 030519

Can from Village Beer Merchant. Hazy golden. Caramel, pecans, peanut butter, citric, some bitterness. Flavours don't mix well. Should have known, bit of a mis-buy.

16 ounce can into tulip glass; no can dating, but is a recent release. Pours very hazy/cloudy deep golden/orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berries, roasted pecans, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn/pine, maple syrup, wheat, biscuit dough, light caramel/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, pecans, maple syrup, and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berries, roasted pecans, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn/pine, maple syrup, wheat, biscuit dough, light caramel/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berries, roasted pecans, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn/pine, maple syrup, wheat, biscuit dough, light caramel/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, pecans, maple syrup, and bready malt flavors; with a solid malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is fantastic. Slight lingering resins. Minimal warming alcohol for 8.6%. Overall this is an outstanding flavored NEIPA. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, pecans, maple syrup, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to drink for the big ABV, with the mildly bitter/drying finish, awesome soft feel. Very juicy/lightly dank Citra/Mosaic hops with pecan/maple syrup flavors; and a perfectly balanced wheat/oat/malt backbone. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and spot on base style example as expected. Very unique one, but still works really well. Not overwhelming on any aspect.

16oz can pours out a golden topped with a white head. Nose is nice sweet pecan pie notes and a citrus hop. Taste is big sweet syrup pecan pie notes and a kick of hops.

16 oz. can, pours a cloudy peachy orange with a tiny head. Nose is fairly subtle, with pecan pie and maple syrup, pretty convincingly, though with no real hops. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of pecan and maple syrup, with the hops fairly subdued. Really nice use of adjuncts. Ths is surprisingly good.
