Our PGR has aged for 24 months on oak barrels and has been bottled for the first time on the 27th of December 2007. The main difference with the Pannepot Reserva is that PGR matured the last ten months on Calvados oak barrels, adding extra complexity to the beer. We dedicate this beer as a tribute to Jeppe & Michael of Ølbutikken in Denmark. Those gentlemen were the first to discover our beers on an International basis back in 2004 and are responsable somehow for our beers being all over the globe since then. As a token of gratitude towards Jeppe & Michael, the first shipment of PGR was scheduled to Ølbutikken so they could be the first to launch its commercialisation.

33 cl bottle @ olio Vintage 2018. Batch 20200029: bottled 03.11.2020, BBE 03.11.2025 Aroma is mild with some licorice. Flavour has spices, some licorice, ripe fruits, belgian yeast. Finishes with strong spiciness. Quite good; drinkability could be better though.

Dark brown with thin head. Lots of wood in the aroma, some brown sugar too. Dark sweet malts. Hints of apple and a slight tartness, probably just from the barrel. Generally warming and sweet.

Sensory Session #57: Vintage 2010. Nearly black color and a small white head. Nose is acidic, old vinegar to balsamico, very well balance of tart balsamico and roasted malts. Some red fruits and black currant at the palate. Faint licorice finish. Vintage 2015: Opaque, black-brownish sofort and quick dissapearing tan head. Nose is vineous, slightly acidic with hints of balsamico. Bready-malty Taste, dried fruits and rum-rasins sweetness over a slightly presenr balsamico tartness. Nice.
