This beautiful straw colored ale has a light malty body, balanced with pine and grapefruit hop character from early additions of Cascade and Chinook. Late loads of dank Summit and Citra in the whirlpool provide an aromatic and deliciously quenching finish to this East meets West Coast IPA.

Lightly hazy amber beer, good white head. Palate is light and dry. Fine minerally carbonation. Odd flavour of hazlenuts! The hops are mellow pine and citrus. Light caramel. Different!

Clear, very dark amber body with an off-white head. Spicy citrus aroma. Resiny - more spruce than pine. This has a strange flavor profile to it. Bitter and dry. I can’t identify where the strange flavor comes from.

Bottle from the Great British Beer Festival 2013. Poured a hazy copper colour with a thin white head. Sweet aroma of brown sugar, caramel and butterscotch. Initial flavours of toffee and sweet malt with some pine like hops low down in the mix. Palate is more butterscotch, maple syrup and a little hop resin. Hops were DOA it would appear.

From a bottle. Copper color with a long lived, lacing white head. Malt aroma. Flavor has dry malt and mildly bitter hops. A middle-range ipa that could use some more flavor, but perhaps is closer to an American pale ale.

How did I never taste this? From a bottle. Aroma of bread. Taste of chewing on green grapefruit rinds. Big nasty linger. Yes typical on style IPA. Tons of ’em. This style is simply one big nasty beer dinken experience.

Bottle. Dark amber color with a medium off-white head. Aroma of malt, cookie-dough, a bit of caramel and somewhat stale citric hops. Sweetish malty flavor with some caramel and biscuits notes, continues to a big, bold, bitter hops finish, a bit grapefruity. Medium-bodied. Decent. Seems a bit past its prime.

Bottle bought at New Beer Distributors in August 2012. Hazy amber with a large white head. Aroma and taste of grape, hops and some malt. Bitter but not extremely bitter. Nothing sensational but drinkable.

Tap: Poured a brown color ale with a small foamy head with minimal retention. Aroma of floral hops notes with limited notes of bitterness with light caramelized malt notes. Taste is also a mix between some caramelized malt with some floral hoppy notes with a light bitter finish. Body was a bit thin for the style with average carbonation. Lacking a bit of character for the style.

Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Hazy amber, small head. Aroma of lychee and grapefruit. Medium bodied with clean mouthfeel. Crystal hidden in a relatively thick blanket of citric hops. Salty bitter finoish.
