Can from Connolly's Wine Merchants, online. Pours a dark brown, with big dark beige head, nice retention. Aroma is very roasty with coffee notes, earthy with hint of blackberries. Taste is semi-sweet, roasty, coffee, blackcurrant, quite dry, moderate bitter finish. Good stout.

Keg at Sommar Waterloo St. Aroma has smoke and peat. Dark cola brown. Beige head retreats to the rim. Light-medium bitter. Herbs and smoke. Medium bodied but light. Average carbonation. Long finish. Surprisingly bland.

Keg tap at the brewery, FarGo Village, Coventry. Dark brown, pretty much black, with a thin khaki head. Dark malt notes in the aroma with slate, forest floor, salt liquorice. Sweetness to the taste drowned out by the dry finish. A delicious if uncompromising stout. Good stuff.

9/8/2020. Can from the Castle Yard Tap Room, Coventry. Gusher! Eventually poured black with a huge tan coloured head. Aroma of dark chocolate, roasted malt, toffee, oats and vanilla. Moderate sweetness and moderate roasted bitterness. Moderate body, slight watery/creamy texture, average carbonation. Ashy dark fruits to finish. Interesting addition to the day’s festivities.

Cask at Cherry reds And yup, there's some cherry feel. Accident? I don't think so. Rather okay stout, not really traditional stout feel but okay

Keg @ Cherry Reds. Pours deep brown. Zero carbonation. Chocolate nose. Taste presents a grainy chocolate malt character, light espresso roast, dusty cocoa, light bitterness. Bit too thin and light for me.
