Island Street Porter is a carefully crafted, velvety, delicately bitter porter with just a hint of sweetness. Eight different malts combine to suggest dark chocolate, coffee and black cherry. While the aroma pleasingly suggests Black Forest gateau.

28/4/2020. Bottle from Darts Farm near Topsham, Devon. Pours very dark brown with a deep dark cherry tint and a small bubbly beige head. Aroma of liquorice, strong black coffee, dark chocolate and a BFG edge. Moderate sweetness and a light roasted bitterness. Lacks a bit of body but still enjoyed it.
