Cask at GBBF ‘19, day 3, 08/08/19. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a well presented beige head. Nose is nutty, toffee, dark malts, biscuit crumbs. Taste comprises brown bread, dried fruits, leather, toffee. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough mild.

Fra cask på GBBF aug-19: mørkebrun med flott skum som varer. En slank og lettdrikkelig, maltdrevet øl med milde toner av urter og karamell. Halvtørr avslutning. En velsmakende representant for en utdøende (?) ølstil.

ABV: 3.8%. Clear dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, dark malt, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, roasted, woody, dark malt, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20190807]

GBBF Day 2. Cask. Almost clear amber brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth and slightly soft palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Tangy malts. Whisper of coffee. Ripe citrus. Some peel. Light finish. Hmm. Nothing to see here, move on.

Cask gravity at Kent & East Sussex BF 2017. Dark brown black beer. lasting beige head. yes typical dark mild a little roast but some very good blackcurrant flavours. yes fine. I liked the fruit
