New England-Style IPAs are all the rage. Fans of Stone repeatedly ask for our take on the style, which can be met with some criticism. Rooted in West-Coast style IPAs for decades, how would we do it? Fear no more. Our brewers took the approach to deliver incredibly hoppy and aromatic flavor while keeping it very balanced, and upping the alcohol unnoticeably - nailing this astounding one-of-a-kind creation.

Overall this unfiltered double IPA is juiced up with massive tropical & citrus notes. The mild bitterness and relatively dry body compliment the style, and the residual maltiness nicely rounds it out. Lingering lime peel and tropical fruit derived from the hops stand out on the finish, begging one to seek out more.

What 3 words pinpoint where this beast was born? The location is printed on the can.

This is our take on a hazy East Coast Double IPA. Juicy and smooth with just the right touch of West Coast bitterness in the finish. The aroma on this beer is insane and reminds us of getting fresh fruit from a farm stand on the side of the road. Now, make that a farm stand on the side of the road in Yakima, WA during hop harvest. The aroma of fresh hops envelops!

Pint can pours crystal clear copper body that supports a thin off white head of foam. The aroma offers cranberry, cran-apple and a faint malt infused dankiness. The taste delivers a pleasing balance of cranberry and nectarine and pine hop flavor flowing with bitter pine and hoppy onion like spicy dankness. Behind the hops rides a thin sweet maltiness providing a base and cohesiveness to the experience. Nice IIPA with little sense of the ABV.

03/26/19, smells like 03/26/18, can smell the malt from the other side of the kitchen. After the head settles it's got that stone bitterness but otherwise meh.

Canned February 25th with a 4 month window.

Pours a clear deep gold, perhaps copper, with a great head of foam, and good lacing.

The smell is big with the tropical fruit. Mango, papaya, pineapple, some onion and melon, very sweet yet not without bitterness.

The taste includes everything I mentioned in the smell but way more intense. Super sweet tropical fruit, intense bitterness in the finish, intense in all aspects and definitely, not for me.

Thickish mouthfeel. Not a detrimental thing.

I'm so glad that I only bought 1 can. I couldn't drink more than 1 and have doubts that I will finish this one.
