8th August 2019 GBBF Day 3 and also Day 1. Cask. Almost clear dark brown beer, small tan head. Smooth palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth rich malts, touch of malt cream, toffee and a little molasses. Tangy powdery chocolate. Dark fruits. Some plum. Light crispy finish. Amusing. The rich flavours stand in contrast to the light crispy palate. Rich and drinkable.

7th Aug 2019, GBBF, cask, third of a pint. Deep brown body, light tanned head. Candied fruit aroma, spiced and slightly burnt. Taste similar with a strong malty base, an interesting take on a 'Wee Heavy'.
