Pour is a chill hazed gold with a large white head. Aroma is cracker malt with a little wet dough. Flavor is more doughy malt with a clean cracked finish. Decent malty Helles.

Pours clear gold into a stein. Bright white head with medium retention turns soapy and recedes leaving spot lacing. Hot sourdough, citrus and hay aromas. Crisp with spicy straw turning to sweet caramel before the medium length earthy crust finish.

Brewery draught, 7/27/23. Deep bronze. Clear, quickly failing, white head. Pretty light, faint nose with a bit of pepper, wax, scant cracker. Oddly light-bodied with the malt only hitting you at the very, very end. Suggestions of cotton candy on the finish. Low hop character, peppery bitterness at best. Appreciate the dryness but where is the maltiness for being double decocted?!

Draft at brewery. Really hits spot. Bright and semi clear gold and frothy white head. Nose is light crackers and grass. Tastes of bread, some pepper, clean hops, grass. Smooth and crisp.
