Cask at The Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Clear golden orange pour with a white head. Citrus & light tropical fruit nose. Orange peel, mango, apricot & peach flavours. Quite a fruity number. Lightly bitter finish.

Cask at the Wellington, Bedford. Pours clear gold to amber with white foam. Aroma: malt, citrus, straw grass. Light to moderate sweet & bitter. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Fair for the ABV.

[Cask at the Claude du Vall (JDW), Camberley.] A pale amber pour with a tight white head; grainy aroma; sweet grainy taste; and a grassy bitterness. More like a real lager than a Amber Ale.

Bottle: Poured a golden with a thin white head. Aroma from popped top was skunk cock, some spice, cardboard, malts. Taste is wet, malty, some oxidation, drinkable.

28/9/2019. Cask at the Dove Street Inn, Ipswich. Pours clear bright gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of hops, grass, citrus, malt and straw. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Quite drinkable.

[ As Nethergate Venture ].
ABV: 3.7%. Clear medium to light amber to orange colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, light caramel. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, sweet malt, pale malt, light caramel, apple - fruit notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20190802]
