Continuing our series of globetrotting pale ales, this time with an intercontinental twist! A golden bed of malt provides a US West Coast style base, which supports the cresting waves of flavour from New Zealand hop blend Superdelic, backed up by Nectaron and innovative Riwaka Hop Kief. Find radical red fruit flavours and ripples of tropical tastes, which give way to a sensationally satisfying zesty finish.

Greenhead Beer Festival 2025, Beer#5. Dank golden with a good head rescuing its appearance, about as opposite as a west coast pale should look! Nevertheless its appearance matters little as it's a fair hoppy-fruity brew in both aroma and taste with underlying tropical notes.

Can. Mitchell’s Wines. Having a play with the Abbeydale roulette. Slightly dull looking gold with dirty white suds. Not a looker by any stretch. Smells decent though. Biscuit malts. Fragrant hoppage comes across melon and peachy. Semi sweet with a decent amount of sappy bitterness. Good depth of flavour at the 4.5%. Clean and fairly crisp. Lingering bitter finish.

Keg at House of Hop, Darlington. Gluten Free. Hazed golden colour, thin white foam head and aroma of tropical fruit, citrus, hops. Taste is sweetish, malt, grain, zesty citrus, lemon-lime, tropical fruity, with hop bitterness. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry zesty hoppy bitter finish. Nicely drinkable
