Pohpin Porter Cerise 5.1% Deep black with a tan head and a roasty aroma that even features hints of licorice. The taste matches but adds the cherry to the medium body and smooth mouthfeel. Very solid.

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with average, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish, fruity aroma, earthy, sweet-ish and fruit acidic notes of raspberry, a touch of cherry, chocolately dark malty background. Taste is sweet-ish and slightly roasty, chocolately dark malty, notes of cocoa and dark chocolate, tart-ish fruity, minimally diluted hints of cherry and raspberry. Minimally watery texture, soft and minimally cloying palate. Very nice rapsberry flavours, a bit thin on the malty side.

Caña en Cimmeria 22..12..2019. Color negro con pequeña capa de espuma blanca oscuro. Sabores maltosos y con toques ácidos afrutados del bosque por igual. Ligeramente ahumada. Cuerpo que se queda algo escaso, ligero y fácil de beber. Normal, original por los sabores, aunque se queda un poco floja.

1 September 2019. At Bar Beenhouwer, Ghent. Shared with Anke! Pours hazy dark brown-black with a lasting, small, frothy, tan head. Aroma of raspberry sauce, praliné with cherry filling, Maraschino, almond, marzipan, mocha. Taste is light to medium malty sweet, chocolate filled with sour cherries & raspberry, fruit jam-like, a bit bitter toasty & nutty with a powdery effect of coffee & fondant. Dryish, herbal hoppy finish, lingering red fruit, chocolate & toast. Medium body, slick-oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Very well combined.

Tap @ Skaal, Copenhagen. Black with a light brown head. Aroma is dry, roasted malt, chocolate and cherries. Flavor is quite sweet and moderae bitter. Dry and roasted moderate bitter finish with a light acidic edge. 120919

Tap@Skaal, Copenhagen - black with a beige covering. Dark sweet and light roasted malty, notes of chocolate, some nice raspberry popping up, medium body, dark sweet berry infused malty finish. Very nice.

Draft. A black beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of cherries, roasted malt, and dark chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, raspberries, and dark chocolate, leading to a bitter finish.

@ Bar Beenhouwer. Dark brown colour, beige foam. Nose of roasted malts, coffee, red fruit (raspberries). Subtle fruitiness in this well balanced and sessionable stout. Good!
