Our OverWorks cellar reveals the best of both worlds in this Brut IPA/Bretted Saison hybrid. Instead of Champagne yeast we've fermented this beer with our house culture of Brettanomyces to balance bone dry hop highlights with our signature funk. Dry-hopping with Ariana gives massive aromas of currants, vine fruit and citrus, backed up by floral brett expressions.
This is nothing less than Brut IPA redefined. Merciful Maverick - et tu Brut IPA?

Аромат легкий и приятный, сразу ощущаеться газация и дрожжи как будто от шампанского. Цедра на первом плане, лимон и грейпфрут, совсем немного специй, намеки на сено. Цвет очень светло желтый, средне мутный, пенка хорошая, белая. Вкус тоже интересный, как будто немного пшеницы есть, снова цедра и цитрусы на первом плане. Карбонизация сильная, но быстро выдыхается. Уже немного фруктов есть, типо ананасов. Послевкусие снова цитрусовое, намеки на хмель и его травянистую составляющую. В целом, интересно и приятно, но не за такую цену.

Bottle from Brewdog Lothian Road. Appearance - golden with a big fluffy white head. Nose - funk, lemon, orange snd lightly bready. Taste - tart orange, apricot and funky. Palate - medium bodied and tangy. Fairly sour on the finish. Overall - good!

500ml bottle [Minimal gusher]. Slightly cloudy, yellow-ish golden colour with average to huge, frothy, diminishing, minimally lacing, white head. Bretty, funky, floral and herbal-grassy aroma, moderate brett flavours, some brine, mustard seed, fresh hay, petals, a touch of fermented honey, pollen, whiffs of melon. Taste is dry, tart-ish, yeasty funky, mildly bretty, slightly floral, grassy and herbal spicy, tangy, hints of brine, mustard seed, fresh hay, apricot, melon; lingering, dry, minimally waxy and soapy, finish. Watery texture, dry palate, medium to coarse, prickly carbonation. Mild bretty flavours, nice Saison aspects, minimally waxy and soapy interference; more Farmhouse IPA than Brut IPA to me - pretty decent.

500ml bottle from Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear golden colour with a big, everlasting, fizzy white head and lots of champagne-like bubbles. The aroma is Brett yeast and light citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate sour and bitter with a crisp, dry, funky yeast, light tart citrus fruit, earthy, dry hop bitter palate with hints of sweet caramel and a long piney hop bitter finish. Medium bodied with heavy carbonation. Very nice. Made a pleasant change from a never ending stream of pale ales and IPA’s.

Ziemlich trockener Beginn. Viel Brett, kaum Hopfen, weich, milde Bitterkeit. Süffig, moderat würzig, kurzer Abgang. Okay. 9/8/9/8/10/8

50cl bottle. A clear yellow golden beer with a white head. Aroma of brett, mild citrus hops, pale malt. Taste of Brett, grapes, spicy bitter hops, moderate bitterness.

The sixth one for our 7th wedding anniversary. Bottle 0.5l. Cloudy, straw colored. AROMA- citrusy, tropical fruit, candied fruit, spicy hops, brett. FLAVOR- moderately sour, dry, moderately bitter, the same as aroma. Medium bodied. Very good.
