100% BRETTANOMYCES FERMENTED BRUT IPA DRY-HOPPED WITH ARIANA

Our OverWorks cellar reveals the best of both worlds in this Brut IPA/Bretted Saison hybrid. Instead of Champagne yeast we've fermented this beer with our house culture of Brettanomyces to balance bone dry hop highlights with our signature funk. Dry-hopping with Ariana gives massive aromas of currants, vine fruit and citrus, backed up by floral brett expressions.

This is nothing less than Brut IPA redefined. Merciful Maverick - et tu Brut IPA?

Tight white head stayed on slowly carbonating pale lemon coloured body. Champagne, yeast, confectionery & stone fruits aroma. Medium bodied, well carbonated on the palate with light, dry clean back. Nectarine, bubbly gum, yeast & kiwi tastes with delicate hopped finish & sweet citrus aft. Well made & very refreshing

19/XI/19 - 50cl bottle @ HoReCa-Expo Gent, BB: 9/IV/44 (wtf?) - (2019-1865) Thanks to the brewers and the Ghent Beer Posse for sharing today’s beers!

Clear pale yellow beer, creamy dense white head. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: funky, lots of brett, soapy bitterness, bit floral, weird and unpleasant have to say. Aftertaste: still very very soapy with highly unpleasant bitterness.
