Cask at the Queen Hotel (JDW), Aldershot. A very pale amber colour with a loose white head; lemony aroma; soft, sweet and sticky in the mouth with a citrus taste; then a short lived grassy bitterness, before a lingering sweet grapefruit finish. Quite complex, but somehow it doesnβt all come together.

Cask at the White Swan, Solihull. Poured a clear straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is mineral malt, light citrus. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a dry, grainy, yeast, earthy hop bitter, light spice palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask handpull at County Hotel Ashford JDW. Clear gold lasting white head. soapy thin. Odd citrus soap flavour. Really not very good. Not going to finish a half. Ok condition. Not much bitterness. Hmmm.

500ml bottle conditioned into a UK pint sleeve at home on 15th April 2016. Light amber/golden body, smooth white blanket of foam for a head. Slight citrus aroma and taste which grows as the beer warms a little. Too much Grapefruit like esters for me in the end. scored kindly.

Cask at the Haymarket. Pours pale gold, light haze, with a thick white head. Aromas of citrus, and a light sulphur tang. Taste is bitter. Needs some balancing malty-sweetness for me. Bitter, thin finish.

On cask @ the Haymarket. Appearance - golden and hazy. Nice head. Nose - lemon pith and pale malt. Taste - loads of lemon pith. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - quite single dimensional, though that dimension is quite strong.
