Bottle. Pours a mid gold colour with a tight white head, plenty of hops and hints of grapefruit in the aroma, the taste is very bitter with a crisp bitter finish.

Cask (handpump) @ Hopbunker, Northgate House, Kingsway, CF10 3FD Cardiff, Wales.

[ As Conwy California ].
ABV: 4.4%. Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity, sweet malt, citrus, sweet fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, citrus, fruity hops, pale malt, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Bottle from Sarkynorthener’s livestock wales mission; clear amber pour with a bubbly white head, aroma has sweet malts, taste has light fruit and sweet malts.

Sample@GBBF2018, London, with the Malmö crew - Golden pour with a white head. Citrus fruity and sweet malty with some notes of citrus peel, light grassy notes, medium body, soft carbonation, hoppy bitter close.

Cask @ Medicine Tap, Rochdale. Blonde with a creamy head. It's hoppy first with a mid-bitterness second. Some citrus is evident.

Tried at the Felix Holt Nuneaton. Pale golden colour with a white head. Aroma fruity citrus and berries. Taste is light bittersweet with a long bitter finish.

Cask (Lord Palmerston JDW, Southsea) - Golden in colour. Lemon, tea and gooseberries in the aroma. Hoppy taste with tea, grapefruit, lemon and pineapple. Rather dry.

Cask at the Queen Hotel (JDW), Aldershot. A very pale amber colour with a loose white head; lemony aroma; soft, sweet and sticky in the mouth with a citrus taste; then a short lived grassy bitterness, before a lingering sweet grapefruit finish. Quite complex, but somehow it doesn’t all come together.
