The Biolégère is a top fermentation beer with refermentation in the bottle.
Created in 1992, this beer was the answer of our brewery to the increasing demands coming from a large group of potential clients, wanting an organic* beer with character but low in alcohol.
This light and refreshing blond beer combines marvellous aromas, taste of malt and citrus.
The refermentation in the bottle in combination with an “adapted hopping” are resulting into a complex beer with only a small degree of alcohol.
The production is being controlled by Certisys and the beer has the label Biogarantie®.

25cl bottle from Vanuxeem. Pours a misty pale yellow, large white head. Distinctly herbal, leafy, grassy, pear drops which came as a surprise, really didn't expect this kind of character.. light saison sweetness.. a bit odd but generally ok

For a daily beer and for the price, this beer is not that bad, refreshing, hop, nice bitterness, a bit watery, lack of carbonation, 11.05.2017, drinking it at Prélaz, Lausanne, buying it at Paris.

Old rating - A 250ml bottle from a French supermarket. Pours a light yellow colour with a white head. A light dry saison with lots of hops. Different bottle of beer in my home No. 1953

Gold, skunky aroma, sknky taste. It’s a downgrade version of Saison DuPont, not a successful efort.

Bottle from Beergium. Aroma is light wheaty, bready malt, peppery yeast, hay, soft spicy notes and a slight touch of fruits. Flavour is moderate sweet and lightly bitter. Body is light, fairly watery. A bit weak, not very impressive, but a decent thirst quencher.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Cloudy gold with a decent sized white foamed head. Aroma of citrus, fresh saw dust and white bread. Taste of peppery spice, lemon, grain, yeast, white bread, quite drying, decent bitterness. Refreshing light+ bodied which nicely balances the drying element to the beer. Good.
