Draught@BrewDog Helsinki. Pitch black colour with a small off-white foamy head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is roasted, liquorice, some muscovado sugar with mild dried fruits, chocolate and plum. Flavour is pretty much following the same pattern as the aroma. Smooth.

Can from Geers, Oostakker. Pours hazy black with a slowly diminishing, frothy, beige head. Aroma of milk chocolate, praliné, candied date, vanilla cream, liqueur, faint phenols. Taste has sweet chocolate, biscuit, candied date and even banana, vanilla & cream linking it to bittersweet coffee & toast. Just a touch of smoke before the dryish, herbal hoppy finish, chocolatey & fruity, warming brown rum-like alcohol. Full body, oily-syrupy texture, soft carbonation. Sweet 'Impy', perhaps too much, but BrewDog is so good at these ones.
