Can 330ml (Fanzine)
Opaque colour, medium-sized beige head and some lace. Aroma is toasted with dark chocolate, light fruity sweetness. Medium to full-bodied. Smooth palate, toasted, sweetish (Demerara), a bit fruity, chocolaty flavour. Another clean palate Brewdog imperial stout. Well-done but has no edge to be excellent.

On keg at Brewdog Lothian Rd, Edinburgh. Appearance - opaque black or quite close to it. Thin lacing. Nose - raisins and chocolate. Light molasses. General cake thing going on. Taste - more of that rich chocolate and dried fruit cake thing. Light boozy edge but fine. Palate - rich and full bodied. Thick texture and boozy edge to it. Sweet on the finish but fine for this style. Overall - liqueur beer!

330ml can via Brewdog Fanzine. Pours dark with deep tan head. Chocolate and roast on the nose. Good moderately thick body, lots of layered roast, chocolate and caramel glimpses on the finish. One of the better imperial stouts from the fanzine series. Very good.
