Brewed with a blend of Pale, Crystal Rye, Aromatic, Imperial, DRC and Black malts for a rich and sweet malt profile. To keep that residual sweetness in check we cold steeped Density Wave with @hasbean single origin Guatemalan coffee beans.

Can shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours black with a thick tan head. Lots of coffee aromas, dark chocolate and smoke. Tatse is more of the same. Maybe some liquorice. Bitter finish. Good.

Can from Beautiful Beers. Appearance - opaque black with an olive sheen. Big fawn head. Nose - green coffee bean. Dark chocolate and light smoke. Taste - smoke, dark chocolate and coffee. Palate - light to medium bodied. Roasty finish. Overall - better taste than nose for sure.

Draft: Poured a dark black with brown head. Aroma is rich chocolate and malts. Taste is ashy rich roast malts, coffee beans, chocolate hint.

440ml can. Black with a tan head. Aroma of coffee and roast malts. Taste of coffee, roast malts, dark chocolate, quite bitter but very smooth. Medium bodied.

Can from Cotteridge Wines Birmingham and shared in Bangkok. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a round bubbly light tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, light red berry fruit, floral aniseed, herbal. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a floral, medicinal, dry hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Black with a tan head. Aroma of cocoa powder, milk chocolate, caramel and malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

29/11/2019. Craft keg at the Gladstone Arms, Stowmarket. Pours black with a small creamy beige head. Aroma of coffee, roasted malt, dark chocolate, caramel, vanilla, dark fruit and ash. Moderate sweetness and medium roasted bitterness with just a touch of tart. Medium body, slight creamy texture, average carbonation. Very good.

Keg at London Calling Sweden 07/09/19. Vague dark coffee aroma. Dark and glossy. Creamy beige head Bitter with a burnt caranel edge. Coffee. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Fizzy carbonation. Long finish. Decent stuff.
