Look, when I saw this on the shelf I was excited because it was a wild beer. It pours mostly orange yellow. It does smell a little tart bit It was very disappointing to find it was so bitter on the palate. Yes, it is a little tart but it is so bitter with hops. Very rude if you ask me. I like tart and wild beers but this is some kind of overly hopped bullshit. Not impressed, just simple rude straight up ass. Go figger. Probably one of the lower rated sours in my book.

Bottle from a Giant Supermarket. Clear gold in colour, with a thin, white, head. Light aroma of tart fruit with a trace of leafy hop. Flavour had sweetish malts, a hint of fruit and a crude, semi-sour finish. So so.

Deep golden coloured body with hints of copper and bronze with a bit of an orange highlight and tint throughout, all with a thinnish off-white head. Aroma of kettle soured grain and sugars with a dash of fructose and funky brett/lactobilly with a dash of tart raspberries and blueberries noticeable as well at the very end. Light-bodied; Strong tart and funky soured grain flavours dominate with a dash of bread, yeast and some lactobilly flavours with a touch of the fruit at the end, but fairly simple and one-dimensional Aftertaste shows the grain, sour and tart grain and kettle soured elements with a dry and herbal finish at the end without much else and no real complexity. Overall, a relatively underwhelming beer, but not bad by any means, with a herbal quality and a dry note with some funky tart notes and a hint of lactobilly flavours, but that's about it. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Harris Teeter in Pentagon Row (Arlington), Virginia on 02-November-2019 for US$1,87 sampled in my hotel room here in Newport News, Virginia on 16-November-2019.

[12oz bottle from Albertson's, Fullerton, CA.] A slightly hazy amber pour with a scummy looking head - rather flat and lifeless; sour grainy aroma with some fruit in the background; sharp berry fruit taste, with a sweetish malty base; and little to finish. Rather poor.

Bottle from the uninspiring fall mix case. Dusty orange pour minimal head. Nose is fruity and citrus. Tastes of raspberry, lemon, grass, earthy funk. Dry and fruity finish.

Bottle, TWSP. Hazy golden-orange with a small off-white head. Berry, hair tonic, caramel, bread nose. Flavor is tart berry, grasses, little else. Bland.

From the mixed 12 pack from Market Basket. Mostly clear deep yellow in color with a thin white head that dissipate quickly. Light earthy funk and a faint tartness with some bready malt underneath. Pretty tame for a sour, maybe its a gateway sour beer.
