Right Place is an oak-conditioned rendition of our Czech-style lager, Shipshape. Upon the conclusion of primary fermentation, it is transferred to horizontal oak for further maturation until the flavor profile exhibits peak balance and enjoyability. We taste straw, bready malts, noble hops, and mild lemon all softened by a gentle oak character throughout.

Can pour gifted by Chalumeaux--thanks, TJ! Crystal clear, bright yellow with tons of sparkle, nice head with excellent retention and trace lacing. Aroma is strong bready malt, straw, Euro hops and mild citrus. Taste is strong bready malt, straw, hint of citrus, bitter. Smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste with moderate bitterness. Good strength, well made but don't love straw/Pilsner. Not getting oak. OK.

12 oz can in a trade with TJ. Aroma and flavor are a match. Biscuit grainy, bready flavors. Shows a bold Saaz bitterness. With a good crispness. Proper for the style. Wait. This was aged in oak??? Couldn’t tell.

98 degrees and this slaps hard. Really refreshing, like sitting out at a cafe on a hot sunny day taking in the sights.

Tewks draught, 6/23/24. Clear brass. Large, well retained white head. Nose is lovely mineral rich snappy yeast. Light sourdough, beautifully expressed, fresh herbs and hints of honey-like malt. Clean, balanced, aromatic and with soft caresses of oak. Richly malted, clean and not too much sourdough or hop bitterness but very well balanced. Snappy yeast and mineral, fresh herb and pepper. Sourdough hints of oak and honey linger lusciously.

Can at the house in Martha’s Vineyard. Thanks to Sander! Pours clear yellow-gold with a small, creamy white topping. Lightly sweet, great bitter grass and straw vibes, crispy dried biscuits, grain husk. Light bodied with massaging carbonation, finishes dry with more grassy hops, crunchy pale grains, hay. Excellent.

Doing a series of checkins featuring all the pint glasses I have accrued over the last 30 years. These are in no particular order. This is an Anchor Steam Our Special Ale Christmas pint glass from 2006. I know it is heard to see.

Pours an only slightly-hazy, copper-gold, with mid-sized head. Aroma is grassy, bready, with some citrus. Flavor is grassy, bready, hoppy, with some citrus. Not tasting the oak. Clean mouthfeel.
