House Lager is an American Light Lager made entirely with flaked corn and malt from our friends at Thrall Family Malt in north-central Connecticut. This style demands flawless brewing execution-there are no fruits or adjuncts to hide behind-and it is a proud example of our brewing attunement at Tree House. You can taste the difference from familiar industrial homogeneity. Light, characterful, and easy to drink, House Lager carries notes of grain, sweet corn, and hints of lemon propelled by a crispy body.

Pours clear gold into a willi. Bright white head with little retention recedes to hug rim. Corn and hay aromas. Crisp with sweet hay, corn and citrus front to back. Medium length straw finish.

16 oz can traded by TJ, thanks Chalumeaux. Aroma is light straw and corn. Flavor follows with a crisp texture that ends extremely clean. Light body with a fresh character. Very good for the style.

Tewks draught, 4/13/23. Clear blonde. Small, white head, low-to-moderate retention. Corn quite present and it's delightful. Clean, very light. Wish I could drink kegs of this in college....good malt and good attenuation. Little/no hops. Cracker, corn and biscuit. Hey, nerds, breweries make beer for more than just you.

16 oz can from Tree House, Charlton, 3/20/22. Clear gold with a nice white head. Grain, grass, pepper, corn, and lemon zest. Light citrus. Tingly feel. Slightly over carbonated, but otherwise quite refreshing. Not exciting, but overall, no complaints.

Pours a clear, light golden yellow, with minimal head. Aroma is grass/straw, some hops. Flavor follows. Crisp and clean mouthfeel. Not bad for the style, but really not my favorite style, either.
