Normand is our barrel-aged Quad. It rested for twelve months in select bourbon barrels allowing it to transform into a characterful beverage of individuality and intrigue. Pouring a very dark ruby red into the glass, it carries notes of caramel chews, rich dark fruit, bourbon candy, and Belgian yeast esters. An homage to those loved and lost, it is intended to accompany the aching nostalgia that can often accompany holiday celebrations. Share and enjoy with those you love, and relish the present moment.

At the January 2026 DC Brewver gathering. 12oz bottle. Poured a nearly pitch black color, dark cola hues, with a small light tan head. Aroma was big cherries, dried fruits, plum, woody barrel. Dates, dark cherries, sweet malt, with a pleasant amount of semi-dry finish.

Bottle from the brewery in Tewksbury. Maple syrup brown, nice sparkle, no head, nice viscosity, no lacing. Aroma is strong dark fruit, caramel, bourbon, fruity esters as advertised. Taste is strong caramel and bourbon, later, milder dark fruit. Smooth, thick texture, medium bodied, soft carbonation, strong alcohol warmth, crisp finish as taste w/mild bitterness. Good representative of the style. Nice leisurely sipper.

Bottle, thanks to TJ, drunk 5/6/23. Clear deep maroon, low head. Lovely, elegant bourbon, prune, plum, raisin, vanilla. Very plummy. Wow this is chewy, lightly sweet where I thought it was going to be too dry and attenuated. But it's got great malt depth and appropriate sweetness. Vanilla, prune, chocolate, lots of raisin and deliciously done Belgian yeast. Elegant!

12 oz. Waxed bottle. Thank you TJ. Aroma is mild bourbon, raisins, toffee, vanilla. Flavor follows. Mildly dry mouthfeel with a softer sweetness under the flavors. ABV is not expressed by the brewery but not found in the flavor.

Aroma is oak, bourbon, dark fruit, toffee, caramel. Loads of flavor that changes as it warms. ABV is well hidden, a real nice sipper.
