Bottle shared by Jeff, thanks! Pours a very dark brown with a tan head that starts and remains at the edges. Aroma has a nice rich smoke with a touch of roast and growing sweet grains and a touch of toffee coming through. Flavor has a strong smoke with a bit toffee, roast and some sweet grain underlying.

12oz bottle pours a still, dark nut brown with no head. Big long legs. Nose has a lot of smoke, oak too, huge malt and caramel. Flavor follows with the smoke and it's a touch rubbery now. Reminds me of Ardbeg or something. Huge caramel and brown sugar. Very boozy. Some umami notes like ketchup or mushrooms that sometimes I find fun but don't in this. Very full bodied, long, sticky and boozy. I just don't find this well executed.

Bottle drunk 4/19/24. Clear dark grey mahogany. Small tan head quickly to ring. Scotchy nose with lovely iodine and peat. Caramel and chocolate with smoked vanilla. Salted caramel and heavy smoke. No bourbon, lots of salt and spice. Chewy and malty, moderately sweet and very rich. Lingering salty bacon. Rich. No booze.
