Draft in nyc. Frankly pretty darned good. Flavorful and not ridiculous, clean but also malty

Pours dark amber into a willi. Tan head with good retention recedes to skim surface. Dark caramel aromas. Soft with sweet caramel, candy corn and golden syrup front to back. Earthy hop finish.

Can, best before 6/13/25, drunk 1/9/25.
Clear, darker amber. Large, beige head, well-retained.
Nicely-aged nose with nothing jumpy/aggressive. Hops are mildly spicy, tasteful. Malts don't show too much toast. Light-to-moderate minerality. Very mellow, clean.
A bit toastier and with more acidity than the nose portends. Not too much, I don't think, but pushing it. Moderate maltiness, pretty on-par for its size. Bit too much bitterness lingering where I'd want more malt/yeast/mineral instead.

Draught at the brewery, 6/7/25.
This has even less malt character than the can I had.
Too much toast, too bitter. Very low malt depth, not enough base malt. Too dry. Pretty tired of giving this brewery a chance.

Can from The Liquor Junction, Reading. Clear amber with tons of sparkle, thin, creamy head with good retention and trace lacing. Aroma is toasted malt. Taste is toasted malt, slightly bitter. Smooth, creamy texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Pretty straightforward and average strength of aroma and taste. Didn't love the bitter aspect. Not a huge Amber Lager guy but not nearly as good as Sapwood Osmosis I had 24 hours ago.

Large mug is a murky amber with some creamy white head. Nose has malt and soggy bread, lightly nutty. Flavor is chewy malt and almonds and some bread and yeast. Finishes creamy, just off dry. Crazy drinkable.
