We added Superdelic hops to our usual dose of NZ Cascade in Magic Green Nuggets to give it an even bigger boost of rich sweet citrus fruit. A special drop for NZ Hop Week.

Panda thanks to Cloin. A mild haze on this orange gold beer, decent bubbly pale cream colour head. Light pale malts, quite a forward creamy sweetness. Soft pine. Mild hop spice. Candyish tropical fruits. Touch of stone fruits. Light finish brings a modest hop spice. Pleasant, could do with more hop edge.

Can at home, from Beermerchants online, 02/04/2026.
Hazed orange to golden topped with a lasting creamy white head.
Nose is juicy tropical fruit esters, grass, pine resin, mandarin, pineapple.
Taste comprises orange zest, grass, pine resin, papaya, ripe melon, mandarin.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with balanced juicy hop bitterness.
Tidy easy drinking DIPA but not from OH's top drawer.

A hazed milky yellow ipa with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous piney hops, light mineral notes, pleasant and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous piney hops, light tropical fruits, very nice.

Aromas are stone and tropical fruit with some citrus resin and malt. Flavors are similar to nose. And mild balanced but unremarkable. Full body and slightly soft carbonation. Okay beer. Drinkable but nothing special.

A4 draught, 2/8/26.
Extremely bright and fruity with a lovely mix of white wine and tropical fruit. Some melon and pepper with soft, honey and white bread like malt balancing gently. No herb, spruce, resin or alcohol noted.
Fruity and juicy with kiwi, sweet pineapple and a bit of lychee. Soft malt, moderate sweetness and low bitterness. Could use a touch more attenuation but it's minor. Not quite as bright as the nose, the crushed pineapple being a bit sweet and dominant in the flavor.

This is both decent but also highlights the serious downside to the hazy style. This has surprisingly restrained hop nose, it hints at citrus mainly and a small floral element. The hop flavors are restrained too, no specific note comes forward, just a melange of citrusy floral elements, leading to a lightly bitter and bready finish that leaves you wanting something with more punch to it. Date on bottom is 12/16/25 so if that's the canning date its superfresh. Def a hazy yellow with a rocky meringue of a head that holds on til the end. Can from Upsala market, Sanford FL

Can from OH Philly: pours hazy with a white head. Tropical fruit, light riwaka. Taste is tangy, herby, lightly bitter. Good.
