The Science of Man and Monsters is a new synergistic collaboration with our friends @eqbrewery and @mortalisbrewing! This is a TRIPLE STRAWBERRY, SEXTUPLE VANILLA DOUBLE MILKSHAKE IPA! Brewed with our standard double milkshake base, featuring HEAVY handed amounts of malted oats and lactose sugar. Intensely hopped and dry-hopped with the choicest Mosaic and Citra. Then, conditioned on TRIPLE the amount of sweet strawberries and SIX TIMES the amount of pungent and sticky Madagascar vanilla beans!
We've brewed a lot of dense and decadent beers through the years, but this one takes the cake! The result is a very creamy, very smooth and sweet beer, with bright citrus notes and intense strawberry flavor.

Canned 7/2/24, drunk a few weeks after canning, and a month or so after canning. Heavily cloudy/hazy/murky cranberry-rust-cherry. Medium-sized, lightly creamy head with moderate retention. Juicy, lightly-to-moderately acidic (fruit, minimal hop) nose with plentiful strawberry tartness and juicy aromatics. Vanilla is strong, not really overdone (I really like vanilla). It's not exactly smooth and mellow, but it is aromatic. In the mouth it's similar. Pretty aggressive flavors, moderate acidity, yet a big, fluffy, creamy texture and body. Not boozey and surprisingly, not as sweet as you'd expect. The vanilla and strawberry are done quite well, though the strawberry is a bit acidic. Obviously a novelty, but I can't help enjoying it quite a bit. Not boozey.

Can (7/02/24) pour shared by ClarkkVV--thanks! Hazy orange (lots of fine particulates in suspension), effervescent sparkle, massive foamy head (judging by shape the can was in, this had been dropped/tossed around) with decent retention and light lacing...until I poured out the last of the can--DON'T DO IT!; disgusting chunks whirling like a snow globe, vomitous looking lacing. Aroma is a sweet-tart combo of strawberry and raspberry with lactose and vanilla. Taste mirrors aroma. Smooth, frothy texture with fairly thin body, average-to-lively carbonation, no sign of alcohol, crisp finish as taste. The worst looking beer I've ever had (would give it a zero if allowed). If you save yourself that eyesore by reserving the bottom 25% of the can, this smells and tastes pretty good. A lot easier going down than you'd think for 9%.

16 oz can. Wow, thanks ClarkVV!! Aroma is without a doubt, strawberry shortcake. Flavor has plentiful vanilla with a soft strawberry jam hint. Thankfully, it still shows some mild bitterness for balance. Quite tasty.

Can given by explosivedog: pours pinkish red with white head. Aroma is loads of strawberry and vanilla, but not in a bad way. Taste is sweet and strawberry. Probably sweeter than I hoped, but still tasty and well put together.
