Sampled at Max's Belgian Fest 2024. Pours a clear garnet amber, white head. Sugary nose, some hop, raisin, close. Flavor has raisins and malt and candy and clove. Full bodied, sweet finish.

Dark red amber colour, beige foam. Roasty, notes of caramel, fruity and citrussy with bitter dry citrussy finish. Reminds me of a strong black IPA.

Tap. Pours clear deep reddish amber, small eige head, great lacing. Aroma is malty, caramel, toffee, earth, roast, hint of toasted wood. Flavor is light plus sweet, light plus bitter. Medium body. Complex. Nice

Draught at Glory: pours red with white head. Aroma is malty, Belgian yeast, caramel. Taste is lightly bitter, sweetish, but mostly robustly malty. Reasonable.

Bottle thanks to Gary & Mike. Appearance - deep amber to autumnal red. Lovely fluffy beige head. Nose - red fruits, brown bread and toffee. Taste - strawberry, red cherry and general cakiness. Palate - medium bodied and rich in texture. Sweet and then roasty. Overall - great example of the style, although this has been loaded wrong.

Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours opaque dark amber, with very fine white foam. Aroma is fruity, figs, though delicate. Body is fairly full, with average carbonation. Taste is fairly sweet, but with a surprisingly dry final.

Copper colour, clear, minimal head. Aroma is bread crust, biscuit, a bit funky. Light bitterness, slightly wild and sour. Soft carbonation, easy to drink. Good.
