Fresh Hop was made from a blend of delicately flavoured, very pale worts produced in March and November 2019. Spontaneous fermentation took place in one old Scotch whisky and two white Burgundy barrels. The average age of the beer at blending was 3 years and 3 months. We drove an hour north to visit hop merchants Charles Faram, where we were delighted to be able to collect one of our favourite hop varieties, Challenger. The hops had been picked earlier that morning, so we hot-footed it back to our brewery yard to get the wonderfully aromatic Challenger into the blending tank, before pumping in the three chosen barrels. Bottling took place the next day to ensure we only extracted the most desirable aromatics from the hops.

Bottle, 750 ml ,shared with Boris and Brada. Hazy orange with white head. Beautiful floral notes, intensive citrus, citric, juicy. Easy going. Tad puckering. Medium bodied.

Ratebeer Odense Summer Gathering 2023. Hazy golden with a lasting white head. Funky aroma with hay, grass and a light herbal note. Dry and tart funky flavour with grassy and fruity notes.

Bottle @ Ratebeer Odense Summer Gathering , 2023. Pours hazy Dark Golden with a small White head. Super fresh and crisp. Bright citrus and grass. Funk, brett and Wood. Dry finish. Lovely!

Bottle, online from the brewery. Pours hazed gold with a decent white cap. Bright, fresh, funky, tangy, dry, white wine barrel, grassy, floral. Medium body with foamy carbonation. Beautiful.

Bottle. Mills online. Light haze on a pale gold. Very decent white foam. Big white Burgundy vibe. Fresh grassy, nettle leaf hoppage. Whiff of the whisky barrel. A bit nutty as a result. Light sharp tang. Super fresh. Foamy carbonation. Oaky finish. Glorious.
