Part of the supersonic range this beer should keep any AV nerd satisfied. Dark malts carry a very punchy American hop profile. Interesting and complex whilst being very easy drinking is the feedback that we have had in early tasting sessions.

Handpull cask at the Salmon, Leicester. Mahogany and reasonably translucent with a small off-white head. Massive pine aroma, sweet liquorice, citrus peel and a touch of mint. Taste is sweet and a little grassy, not quite as intense as the aroma promised but still quite nice. Bitterness in the finish but it's never too extreme. An excellent BIPA.

Cask at The Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a clear dark reddish brown colour with a lasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is roasty malt and ashtray. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a crisp, dry ashtray, big woody hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Possibly the best cask Black IPA I’ve ever had.

Cask at GBBF 2022 - Olympia. Pours deep brown with a foamy, beige head. Lightly sweet with strong ash, earth, grass, a little harsh. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. More strong grassy, earthy and ashy character to finish, some baking cocoa. Not bad. Bit aggressive.

Deep dark brown, approaching black, with a frothy near creamy off-white head and a hoppy aroma with a hint of liquorice. Smooth and semi-creamy, it’s dry and bitter with a slightly smoked roasted malt character and that hint of liquorice poking through
