Table Beer is a blend of two different worts produced in February 2020 using traditional turbid mashing.

Rye, oat and barley malts were mashed and seven year old Hallertau Hersbrucker hops were used in the boil.

The sorts were fermented together with our house culture of yeast and bacteria in a stainless steel vessel (a first for us) to keep the delicate aromatics as fresh as possible.

After 18 months the beer was dry-hopped with whole-cone Polish Magnum.

Bottle, sourced via a trade. Pours just off clear straw gold with the usual decent Mills crown of froth, just off-white. Aroma: light wheaty, smidge of lemon, funky accents. Taste: light sharp, semi dry, lemon peel & zest, gentle funk. Light body with foamy carbonation. Decent tackle for 3%.

Bottle. Mills online. Bit of a gloopy pour. Pale hazed gold. Thick white foam is pretty lively. Nose has seltzer. Zested lemon. Bright brett. Wheat. Taste is light dry, with a soft lemon peel bitterness. Light body with soft and foamy carbonation. Spritzy and dry lemon brett to finish. Nice one.
