Kölsch-Style Ale. Kosmisch Grün is a beer brewed in the style of the legendary Köln Kölsch but with a twist, we added the American hop Columbus.

Light gold in colour with a delicate citrus aroma. Its soft body is built on a balanced blend of Pilsner malts and subtle hop additions: expect a clear and gentle beer with a touch of malty sweetness and hoppy bitterness.

Draft. A golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of grass, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, minerals, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

7-4-8-4-16 Can, six weeks after canning. Pours yellow, with a big creamy head. Aroma is sweet malty notes of bread crust, toffee and honey, as well as floral hops with grass and citrusy notes. Full body, with average carbonation. Flavour is floral hops with grass and citrusy notes, as well as pilsner malts with bread and toffee. Nice and quaffable, with lingering floral hops in the finish. Recognizeable kölschy, but with a nice bitter, hoppy sting. This is obviously one of those rare occasions where American hops really makes a positive twist on a European style. But then Kölsch is kind of an ale... Really enjoyable!
