7/12/2021. Bottle sample courtesy of SHIG. Pours slightly hazy pale orange with a short lasting bubbly white head. Aroma is woody, tropical, funky, floral, touch peppery. Moderate sweetness, moderate tartness. Medium body, slightly oily, very soft carbonation. Nicely picks up the red wine barrel. Enjoyable.

Bottle brought to Hazlemere tasting by Mr Frog. Aroma is vinous with tart fruit and a hint of spice. Opaque amber. Thin creamy white head soon recedes. Tart vinous sourness. Dank. Fruity. Light bodied. Thin. Average carbonation. Long astringent finish. Slick. Meets the brief. No complaints here.

Bottle, split at the Hazlemere Movember and chops tasting, thanks to Fergus 12/11/21. Hazed orange with a good sized white cap. Nose is mellow barrel, pissy citric sheds, tarte fruit, dried berries, light farmyard tones. Taste comprises good red wine barrel vibes, tangy fruit rinds, damp oak, dried red berries, light acidity, touch of funk. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Solid flavoursome and well balanced sour.

Bottle shared in Hazlemere - cheers to Fergus. Pours mostly clear orange-gold with a slender, creamy white head. Light-medium sweet flavour with nice tangy juiciness, moderate acidity, a little booze, a little funk, apple. Medium bodied with delicate carbonation. Lightly warming finish, bright, juicy. Nice stuff.

Bottle shared at high Wycombe tasting. A light hazed golden orange coloured pour with a a decent white froth. Aroma is nice tangy lime, bretty funk, horsey, green citrus. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, tangy lime, lemon, pinch of salt, bretty funk, vanilla, bretty. Palate is semi sweet, tangy, moderate. Lingering bitter.

Bottle. CW online. Medium gold with a light haze. Fine white head. Nose has wheat and light spicy biscuit malt. Bit of an apple strudel thing. Some pissy hoppage. Dregs of fruity red wine. Taste has a biscuit sweetness. Lightly dry, with a hint of vinous, fresh apple tartness. Pretty smooth mouthfeel with fine carbonation. Light dry and tart finish.
