Oak fermented rustic Danish Shipyard Ale.
Aged for 8 months.
Havnesæson Blend 2 summarizes what Baghaven stands for. A wide variety of all Danish grown grains including malted and unmalted barley, malted and unmalted spelt, malted and unmalted heirloom wheat, and raw buckwheat. Gently hopped with hops from France and New Zealand and fermented and aged in an Italian red wine foeder with our unique yeast for 9 months.⠀

This Rustic Danish Shipyard Ale is a prime example of what happens when local grains and native yeast come together in harmony.

750ml bottle. Tart, funky and farmyardy with some fruits, mineraly notes, apricot, yeastiness and hints of oak. Pretty good farmyardy saison.

Torr, men mest av allt sur. Som den suraste, gröna clementin man kan tänka sig. Helt ok, men Baghavens suröl börjar bli ganska enahanda.

Draft. An unclear yellow beer with a lazing yellowish head. The aroma has notes of lemons, brett, and malt. The flavor is sour with notes of lemons, brett, wood, and lactose, leading to a tart finish.

Bottle @ Mikkeller, Odense. Pours hazy golden with a small creamy white head. Funk, wood and a touch of apple. Sprinkly and lively. Dope leaning clearly more towards a sour ale.
