Aged for 8 months.
Havnesæson Blend 2 summarizes what Baghaven stands for. A wide variety of all Danish grown grains including malted and unmalted barley, malted and unmalted spelt, malted and unmalted heirloom wheat, and raw buckwheat. Gently hopped with hops from France and New Zealand and fermented and aged in an Italian red wine foeder with our unique yeast for 9 months.⠀
⠀
This Rustic Danish Shipyard Ale is a prime example of what happens when local grains and native yeast come together in harmony.
Brewed at Baghaven Barrel-room by Mikkeller Baghaven - guaranteed good stuff.

Bottle shared at home. Opaque golden pour with a white head. Nose is sweetish straw, grains, pale malts, barnyard and light funk. Taste is sweetish upfront, malty, straw and hay come through, a bit earthy, funky, estery, with a dry, somewhat bitter finish. Light bodied with sub-average carbonation.

750 ml bottle, blend 2. Orange, medium hazy body, with a big, fluffy, yellowish head. Aroma of fresh apricot, citrus, lime, thyme, wood, straw. Tastes similar, with slight vinegar. Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation. Finishes medium acidic, medium dry, citric, a bit wooden, with apricot, some straw. Tasty. Slightly too much carbonation. Otherwise very lovely, lots of fresh fruits. Score: 8 / 4 / 8 / 4 / 16

0,75l bottle at home shared by Saeglopur, big thanks. Blend 2. yellow murky color, rather big white head. smells funky, lime, light herbs, spices, hay, some stone fruits. nice smell. full body, pearly carbonation. tastes citric, grassy, lime, hints of berry notes, bit sirupy, herbal, bit lactic, hay, some ripe fruits, peaches. finishes bit dry, bit sweet with notes of lime, bit herbal and some sugary notes. good stuff, feels more heavy then 6% (probably sugar). Very nice one.
