Ah, not that's refreshing, a beer than smells like a beer. Poured opaque brown with a 2 finger beige head that held on for awhile. Nose is nutty and chocolatey. Flavor leads in on the nuttiness, light caramel flavors, low to medium bitterness, semi-dry to balanced overall profile. I'd like to see this on cask, I bet it really shines as a traditional british ale. In the can, the fizzy carbonation takes us away from that but its still a pretty solid brown ale.

16 oz. can from The Bat Cave. Pours an opaque root beer color with a tiny beige head and decent retention. Almost no lacing. Very nutty / peanut butter aroma. Very nutty flavor too, but without the peanut butter flavor versus the aroma. Very smooth and clean. Sweet. Maybe a little one dimensional for some people, but a really well done brown ale. Medium body and medium carbonation. No bitterness. Easily repeatable.

Draught @ Ginger Man - NYC (12/13/19). Clear brown with copper tint, small creamy beige head, faint coffee aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter mocha taste with citrus in the background, thin body, long medium bitter citrusy finish. Interesting brew, different but nice flavors.
