16 oz can shared by Clarkvv. Aroma is soft vanilla, light coffee, super light malt. Flavor follows. Light hint of bourbon. Mild note of roast. Mild.y better then the other garbage products from Ale Smith we had today.

Can (2/23/24) shared by ClarkVV--thanks, Clark! Inky, opaque black with ring of head, light viscosity, no lacing. Aroma is strong vanilla, bourbon, base stout. Taste is strong vanilla over bourbon, base stout, late chocolate. Smooth texture, soft carbonation, no alcohol, finish as taste.

Canned 2/23/24, drunk 6/14/25.
Clear, dark. Minimal head.
No raw sugar but kind of boozey. Cherry-vanilla, very fruity and lots of sugar, albeit not so raw. Bit of vanilla lingering. As with most of the recent speedways, a bit low on the stout character.
Maple, vanilla, cherry and chocolate with light roast and light sugar. But not too raw. Medium bodied with a dearth of texture. But at least it's not bitter or too raw sugary. Still pretty underwhelming.

473mL can. Pours black with small tan head. Aroma has tons of roast and maple syrup, bourbon, vanilla. Flavour has a great roasted malt expression, maple syrup in reasonable measure, toasted espresso, and bourbon; boozy on the finish. The flavour are all well-integrated into a great base beer.

16 oz. can, pours jet black with a small brown head. Nose is intense, with loads of dark espresso, maple syrup, bourbon, and dark sugars. Flavour is extremely rich, with lots of dark espresso, dark sugars, gentle maple syrup, and bourbon barrels. Thankfully, the maple syrup is not too intense or sweet, giving way to the espresso and bourbon. Rich but balanced and refined. Excellent.

Can courtesy of Ryan and Sky, thx for sharing with Fil and me! Pitch black body, tiny off-white head. Coffee and maple in the pleasant aroma. Chocolate dominates the taste, soft maltiness, maple touches, coffee, light vanilla maybe, touch of warming alcohol that's actually low for the ABV. Very nice!

Poured from 473mL can that somehow leaked 90% out in my luggage without any signs of damage to the can. Whatever, there's still 10% left that I can tick, just can't share it with the group now... Near black with no head. Lots of maple and coffee and vanilla with underlying bourbon. Totally flat no carbonation. Weirdly thin, but maybe that's affected by the lack of carbonation? A bit too boozy. Out of balance. Wonder what would have been different had it not leaked...

Can from the brewery. Pours dark brn/blk with a transient quite dark tan head. Aroma of bourbon, coffee and maple. Full bodied/slick texture. Far from dry and approaching sticky. There's heat, and with burnt malt that supplies bitterness. Flavor is heat, vanilla, bourbon, maple, coffee. Rather intoxicating. :)
