(Cask at White Horse, Parson's Green, London, 18 Nov 2023) Copper colour with frothy, tan head. Malty nose with notes of caramel, biscuits, dried fruit and apricots. Malty taste with caramel, biscuits, apricots and a mild earthy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.

Handpull cask at Hagen & Hyde, Balham. Orange/brown, translucent with a small film of off-white head. Floral aroma with spicy rye character. Sweet and slightly souring taste, some caramel, orange peel, sourdough. Orange bitters in the finish ish. Watery body, zero carbonation. Not particularly keen on this.

Cask at the Horse & Groom, Chobham. Aroma combines fruit and rye. Clear brown. Frothy off-white head. Light bitter. Grainy. A touch of spice. Underlying fruitiness provided a touch of sweet edged sourness. Medium bodied. Slick. Flat-soft carbonation. Long dry finish. It's pleasent enough.
