Cask gravity at GBBF 2017. It pours very lightly hazy amber with minimal head. The aroma is sweetish, touch of green veg, brioche, cake, toasty grain and cereal. The taste is crisp, dry, bitter, pithy grapefruit, zesty, tannin, earthy, wood, leather, varnish and dirt with a very drying finish. Medium body, low carbonation and oily mouth - feel. Very drying after a while, overly so even. Plenty of better golden ales available at GBBF.
